BangCompute, the PSD general use Computational resource
PSD IT has deployed a small High Performance Computational resource to allow our users the opportunity to evaluate GPU Computation.
The server, bangcompute.uchicago.edu, is currently configured to allow all Particle Theory users access by way of their Theory server accounts.

Professor Yoichiro Nambu awarded the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physics.

The Particle Theory group would like to congratulate Yoichiro Nambu, the Harry Pratt Judson Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus in Physics and the Enrico Fermi Institute, on his recognition by the Nobel Committee. Mr. Nambu has been a leading figure in the development of modern particle physics.
